Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.

About Me
I am a nationally certified and licensed mental health counselor (#60691501) in the state of Washington with a private practice located in downtown Seattle. I have experience working with people facing a variety of issues including depression, life changes, trauma, relationship issues, grief and loss, as well as post traumatic stress. When working with clients, I bring a warm, non-judgmental, and compassionate approach.
As a life-long learner, I am continually engaged in professional development and actively work to stay current in advances in the field to best serve my clients. I am a member of the following professional organizations and abide by their ethical codes of conduct:
Member of the Board (2014-2015): The Washington Mental Health Counselors Association, WMHCA
American Counselors Association, ACA
Before my private practice, I was at one of Washington State’s largest mental health organizations, Sound Mental Health, as a therapist working with adults facing a variety of issues. In addition, I completed a practicum at a King County mental health clinic. I received my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University.
I volunteered with the Cancer Lifeline by offering support for cancer victims and their caregivers. I also volunteered at the King County Crisis Center in support of people in crisis or seeking resources during a time of struggle.
At different stages in my life, I have participated in my own therapy, which not only demonstrated the benefits of psychotherapy firsthand but also allowed me to experience the client's perspective in working with an effective therapist. I believe it's only ethical that I've been through the process if I'm to accompany clients in their therapy.
